For each of my notebooks, I go through a unique design process. On this page, I will walk you through how I make my designs, then turn them into real life.
I have a different source of inspiration for each of my notebooks. For example, for the flower notebook, I found a real flower in my front yard, took a picture of it, then uploaded it to Inkscape to complete the design.
After I have uploaded my inspiration to inkscape, I need to change it so it can be printed on the laser. Usually that means tracing an image or making something simpler.
Before I can cut my notebooks, I mask them with tape so they do not get burn marks. To produce my notebooks, I go to a maker space in Ann Arbor called Maker Works. They have a Co2 laser that I can use.
Once I have my notebooks made, I bring them to art fairs for you to buy. They are amazing gifts for loved ones or yourself. You can mix and match the paper color, paper type, and the cover design. I hope you love them!
